I have to confess that I haven't been working on Artificial Love:( I have it printed and sitting on my desk. I have read the first page and . . . it's not bad! I will do this - stay tuned because next time I post - I will have a progress report with real progress.
The news is - I have taken a position as a Communication Advisor for the Hamilton City Council. I'm really looking forward to it. part time so, I still have time for creative writing and GUESS WHAT? I have started another book! I know I have said I don't like to start another until the last one is at least rewritten once but I couldn't help it. I had an idea and I've just been jotting stuff down. I love that wild feeling of a story bubbling up. I can't tell you anymore because it is not fully formed and I would be really just talking out loud. I have three characters and a loose premise for a plot - we'll see how it unfolds.
Obviously, I like a challenge (remember NaNoWriMO?) and I've been challenged by one of my followers to join the A to Z blogging challenge ( http://melissajcunningham.blogspot.com/2011/02/to-z-blogging-challange-april-2011.html). Blog everyday for the month of April? I kind of like this idea because I will be starting a new job and trying to write and still be the FABULOUS wife and mother that I am - so, a daily blog could be a great way for me to keep it all in check.
What do you think? You interested in checking in a little bit more regularly with me? I could promise some drama, some humour - hey, you never know - maybe a little sex - after all there are sheep in the paddock beside our house - they are always busy as I walk by - I could commentate (just joking!) but would love to know what you think (um, not about sheep having sex but about A to Z blogging)
